During the month of January we have been highlighting ways for faculty, staff and students to focus on their health and wellness.
Student opportunities
Throughout the year, University Health and Counseling Services has workshops and programs on meditation, building healthy sleep habits, staying healthy during flu season and more. Learn more about programs.
Students also have access to University Counseling Services, in Sears Library Building, Room 220, where students will find the campus advocate, recovery services and mental-health services. Find out more about walk-in hours for University Health and Counseling Services. Additionally, a counselor-on-call service is available 24 hours a day at 216.368.5872. A nurse-on-call service is also available 24 hours a day at 216.368.2450.
Faculty and staff programs
Through the Faculty & Staff Wellness Program, employees can earn an incentive each month while participating in many programs that promote physical fitness, weight management and nutrition, stress management, financial well-being and more. The university also offers an employee assistance program through IMPACT Solutions that has webinars and other online resources as well as professional phone support and face-to-face counseling.
