Mindful movement is a gentle, accessible approach to yoga that encourages people to tune into what they are feeling as they move and make choices based on their present moment embodied experience.
Benefits-eligible Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff members are invited to participate in an eight-week mindful movement series offered through the Wellness Program. The series will begin Oct. 11 and run through Dec. 6 (with no class held Nov. 22). Each session will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom.
During this series, instructor Julie Schlemmer will present movement options, but will not place priority on stretching more or holding positions for a longer period of time.
