The University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education will host the Mindfulness Matters team for April First Fridays session. Titled “Revisiting ‘Mindfulness Matters,’” this session will be held April 5, from 11:40 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Allen Memorial Medical Building’s Herrick Room.
Faculty awareness of the changing landscape of student needs since the pandemic has increased. This session will tackle the following questions:
- How do we as faculty manage this pressure?
- How can mindfulness practices support both faculty and students?
- What other supports are needed by faculty?
- Additionally, as more faculty consider how to strengthen the educational experience, what is it like to do research on your teaching?
Register to attend through CampusGroups.
