Make strides toward a healthier lifestyle with new online programs; information sessions to be held next week

The CWRU Wellness Program now offers Selfhelpworks, a suite of programs that can help benefits-eligible faculty and staff make healthy lifestyle changes, such as weight loss, smoke cessation, stress resilience and more.

The self-paced programs typically take six to eight weeks and are available on mobile, tablet or computer platforms. Completed programs will count toward the 2016 Wellness Program Incentive.

Those interested in learning more can review the Selfhelpworks demo. In addition, the Wellness team will offer two in-person sessions to share more details about Selfhelpworks and the new exercise incentive program Health Trails.

These 30- to 40-minute sessions will be held:

  • Monday, Feb, 8, at 1:30 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356
  • Wednesday, Feb. 10, at 1 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center Senior Classroom
