Learn more about mindfulness in the classroom

Case Western Reserve University faculty and staff are invited to attend the upcoming workshop, “Mindfulness Matters in the Classroom.” This series of facilitated discussion groups is designed to help faculty members support the ongoing integration of mindfulness within their classes and to provide time for mindfulness practice for faculty.

The discussion will be tailored to faculty members who are using mindfulness in their classrooms, have their own mindfulness practice, and/or are interested in learning from others who are using mindfulness in the classroom. Each session will be facilitated by mindfulness teacher Suzanne Rusnak.

Five sessions are scheduled for the fall semester (all sessions will be from 3 to. p.m.):

  • Wednesday, Sept. 30
  • Tuesday, Oct. 5
  • Wednesday, Oct. 20
  • Tuesday, Nov. 2
  • Wednesday, Nov. 17

Those who would like to participate in the series, should register to attend the first session
