Help improve undergraduate education at CWRU

The Faculty Senate Committee on Undergraduate Education (FSCUE) is looking to fill an undergraduate student position.

FSCUE, chaired by Dean Jeffrey Wolcowitz, serves as the subcommittee of the Faculty Senate designated to make changes and improve undergraduate education as a whole.

FSCUE serves as a stepping stone for individuals on campus who are looking to become more immersed with the inner workings of CWRU.

The student who fills the position must attend all of the FSCUE meetings, which take place about once a month on a Tuesday morning (all dates can be found online). In addition, he or she will have a follow up one-on-one session with Prince Ghosh, the Undergraduate Student Government vice president of academic affairs, at a flexible time.

If interested in running, please submit a letter of intent discussing:

  • Why you want this position;
  • What can you bring to this position; and
  • Why would you be the best fit for this position.

The deadline for the letter of intent is Thursday, Oct. 6, at 11:59 p.m. and should be emailed in .pdf format to prince.ghosh@case.edu.
