Take a walk outside, connect with fellow faculty and staff members, and expand your awareness of the innovative and creative activities happening at Case Western Reserve University with the new Wellness Walk & Talk Series.
Walk & Talk sessions will be offered weekly during the months of June, July and August. All sessions will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Although this is a series, individuals register for each session they would like to attend. Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.
The following sessions will be offered:
- Thursday, June 29: “Entrepreneurship and Building a Network” with Michael Goldberg
- Friday, July 7: “Historical Center Tour” with Janice Gerda
- Monday, July 10: “Garden@Case: History, Future, & Campus Partners” with Brian Gray and Juan Jeffrey
- Monday, July 17: “Nutrition” with Katie Nabors
- Thursday, July 27: “Physical Activity” with Curtis Bickham
- Monday, July 31: “Sustainability and Green Spaces” with Stephanie Corbett
- Thursday, Aug. 10: “Women’s College Historical Tour” with Janice Gerda
- Friday, Aug. 18: “Safety on Campus” with the public safety team
These events are open to all faculty and staff members. Those who are Monthly Wellness Incentive recipients can earn a $100 Wellness Program Incentive in the Community Well-being category for attending at least seven of the eight sessions.
Those who participate should wear comfortable shoes and bring water along. In the event of inclement weather, participants will be notified if a session is rescheduled or canceled.
