Distressed Children & Infants International meeting

Distressed Children & Infants International (DCI) will hold a general body meeting today (Feb. 13) at 7:30 p.m. in the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Residence Hall interactive classroom.

DCI is an organization dedicated to protecting the rights of children, stopping child labor and helping families lift themselves out of poverty through education, health care, vision care and income-generating opportunities.

DCI at CWRU focuses on the Blindness Prevention Program. The organization’s proceeds go toward providing cataract surgeries, glasses and free eye care (eye screenings and follow-ups) to children in India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Nicaragua.

Snacks will be available at the meeting.

Contact Raeesa Hossain, president of DCI, at rhh45@case.edu with questions.
