This year, the Case Western Reserve University Hinduism Club will collaborate with nonprofit organization Akshaya Patra to host a benefit concert in September. Every year, Akshaya Patra provides 1.8 million free and freshly prepared nutritious meals to children in government schools in India.
The organization’s mission is to provide nourishment to children, so that no child is deprived of an education due to hunger.
Students are invited to hear about Akshaya Patra’s mission and how to get involved in this cause during a meeting today (Sept. 1) at 7 p.m. via Zoom.
