The first session of the Writing Resource Center General Campus Workshop Series this semester will focus on the topic “Engaging Academic Audiences.”
The session will be held Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. in Bellflower Hall, Room 102.
James Newlin, a lecturer in English, and Annika Weder, a master’s student in English, will lead the workshop, which will include activities to encourage students to consider how to craft relevant and focused research questions with specific attention to audience, purpose and context.
Pizza will be provided at the session.
Instructors who plan to send their classes to the workshop should email the Writing Resource Center writing@case.edu so organizers can be sure to order enough pizza.
