Two stone walls decorate the front of Yost Hall, but have you ever actually looked to see what decorates those stone walls? If so, you likely got the answer to this week’s question correct. We asked where the “arts” crest, pictured above with its “science” counterpart, resides on campus.
As you can see on the full Yost Hall image, the crests are part of the building’s stone wall.
Fun fact: Yost Hall may now be home to offices such as the registrar, student employment and the math department, but it originally was built in 1950 as a residence hall.
