Members of the community are invited to join Doron Kalir, clinical professor at Cleveland State University’s Marshall College of Law, for a remote lecture titled “What’s News in Israel?” Hosted by the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, this lecture will be held Friday, Nov. 19, from noon to 1 p.m.
In Israel, no moment is a dull moment—something new is always happening, whether in national security or political realities, recent legislation proposals and key Supreme Court cases, changing coalitions and new governments. What do these events mean for people inside Israel? And what do they mean for American Jewry and for American-Israeli relations? Israeli-born Kalir will take participants on a quick trip through Israel’s current national and international affairs, leaving plenty of room for questions and answers.
