Did you guess correctly? The sculpture featured in this week’s photo contest (pictured at right) was Dancers, located in the Mildred Putnam Sculpture Garden at East 118th Street and Euclid Avenue.
Dancers is a blue-painted steel sculpture more than 30 feet tall, created by Cleveland architect Richard Fleischman.
The sculpture garden marks the “eastern gateway” to the university. It is the 47th work in the John and Mildred Putnam Sculpture Garden, founded in 1981 by Mildred Andrews Putnam as a permanent endowment at Case Western Reserve for the acquisition of sculpture.
