Individuals juggling the stresses of working in a caregiving field while also managing professional and personal relationships are invited to participate in a new two-part series called Caring for the Caregiver.
During “Restoring Peace and Passion to the Workplace”—the first of the two classes—participants will learn how to create a caring workplace environment to promote positive interactions with all they encounter.
In the second class, “Caregiver Stress and Compassion Fatigue,” participants will uncover interventions for better dealing with traumatic and non-traumatic stressors.
The Wellness Program has partnered with the university’s employee assistance provider, IMPACT Solutions, to offers this series.
The classes will be held March 1 and 8 at 12:30 p.m. in the Biomedical Research Building, Room 105.
