Webinars on helping kids navigate stress in times of global crisis

The spring and summer of 2020 may feel like a strange time for parents, so the Wellness Program will offer two one-hour webinars for faculty and staff with children. Lisa Damour, psychologist, author and columnist for The New York Times, will provide insights for working parents after her presentation, “Psychological Perspectives on Chronic Stress,” in May 2020 was well-received.

The first webinar, titled “Caring for Children 10 and Younger in the Context of Chronic Stress,” will take place Tuesday, June 23, at noon. Register for the June 23 session.

For those with older children, Damour will present “Caring for Tweens and Teens in the Context of Chronic Stress” Tuesday, June 30, at noon. Register for the June 30 session.

Damour will present two more Tuesday sessions in July for all faculty and staff. The details and registration forms for those sessions are on the wellness website.
