Voices Against Violence

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to Sexual Assault and Violence Educators’ Voices Against Violence event today (Oct. 24) at 7:30 p.m. in Thwing Center ballroom.

Voices Against Violence is a speak-out event against domestic violence. It is an open mic-style event with the purpose of:

  • Educating attendees on the realities of domestic violence (in any type of relationship, not just romantic ones);
  • Empowering the community to not stay silent on this issue; and
  • Showing support for survivors.

All CWRU community members are welcome to attend and speak out. Those unable to attend or who would like to share their story anonymously can fill out an online submission form.

There will be individual support available at the event from a Cleveland Rape Crisis Center representative.

Food from Dave’s Cosmic Subs and more will be provided.
