“Venture Capital From Both Sides of the Table: CWRU Alumni Reflect on Raising (and Investing) Capital”

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship and the CWRU Alumni Venture Fund on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from 4 to 5 p.m. for a discussion with Robin Mansukhani (CWR ’05), CEO and founder of Deciduous Therapeutics, and Ammar Kazi (CWR ’22), associate with Truebridge Capital Partners and former CWRU Alumni Venture Fund Fellow. The event is titled “Venture Capital From Both Sides of the Table: CWRU Alumni Reflect on Raising (and Investing) Capital.”

Kazi led the due diligence process for the CWRU Alumni Venture Fund on an investment in Deciduous Therapeutics, the startup founded by Mansukhani. Kazi and Mansukhani will share their perspectives on the due diligence process as, respectively, an investor and a founder. They will also discuss their experience with the CWRU Alumni Venture Fund and how funds like this are providing students with experience in venture capital and founders with strong connectivity to their alumni networks.

Plus, you’ll have a chance to hear about the current CWRU Alumni Venture Fund portfolio and where it’s headed. Refreshments will be provided at the event.
