Members of the campus community are invited to stop by the University Farm tent on the Kelvin Smith Library Oval for the University Farm’s vegetable and herb plant sale Wednesday, May 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants can pick out vegetable and herb plants from select seedlings grown at the farm’s greenhouse, including basil, lemon grass, ginger, kale, jalapeños, bell peppers, and pink, purple and cherry tomatoes.
The prices are likely lower than those offered by garden centers on a variety of tomatoes, peppers, herbs and edible flowers, ranging from $1 to $5.
Only credit and debit cards will be accepted to make purchases.
