UCITE session to cover how to deal with sexual misconduct on campus

The serious problem of sexual harassment on college campuses has exploded in the news, with reports from all over the nation about the high rates of incidence and the problematic responses by universities in dealing with complaints.

This has raised some questions in the minds of Case Western Reserve University faculty members about the extent of the problem here, what policies the university has, what the response has been so far and how they should respond if a student comes to them with a problem.

At the next UCITE session, Associate Vice President for Campus Life Sue Nickel-Schinderwolf and Title IX Investigator and Assistant Director of Judicial Affairs Shannon Greybar Milliken will lead a discussion about the troubling and difficult issue of how to deal with campus sexual harassment

Join the discussion on Thursday, Jan. 29, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room, on the ground floor of the Allen Memorial Medical Library.

Pizza, water and sodas will be provided at this session. To help estimate the amount to order, please RSVP to ucite@case.edu.
