“Tribe Talk: Jewish Community Conversation on the Pittsburgh Attack”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to a discussion titled “Tribe Talk: Jewish Community Conversation on the Pittsburgh Attack” Sunday, Nov. 11, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Landmark Centre (25700 Science Park Dr.).

Brian Amkraut, executive director of the Laura and Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, and Alanna Cooper, director of Jewish Lifelong Learning, will moderate a discussion with featured guest Jeremy Pappas, regional director of the Anti-Defamation League. This is a special segment of the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program’s Tribe Talk: New Jewish Conversations.

About the event

As so many have mourned those who lost their lives in the attack at Tree of Life synagogue, they’ve also been working to make sense of what happened. During this confusing time—more than ever—the community needs to gather and talk.

This discussion will provide an open space for community members to engage with one another and share their diverse perspectives.

Brief presentations will be followed by a facilitated and moderated open discussion.

Tribe Talk is an informative and engaging monthly conversation on trending Jewish news led by Amkraut and Cooper. It is free and open to the community.

Register through the Siegal Lifelong Learning website.
