Tobacco cessation class to begin April 21; register now

Ready to quit smoking? Participate in a free eight-week tobacco cessation class held weekly, beginning Thursday, April 21, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209.

During this program you can:

  • Assess your readiness to end tobacco use;
  • Identify reasons for wanting to quit and the barriers to quitting;
  • Discover your motivations;
  • Realize how you can stay focused;
  • Develop awareness around when you smoke in order to identify triggers; and
  • Make a plan for behavior change.
