“Building Connection and Communication in the Midst of Stress”
Learn new and transformative ways to improve your response in stressful situations, improve your use of diplomacy, and better understand verbal and non-verbal communication in the eight-week stress management series.
“Building Connection and Communication” will be taught via Zoom on Tuesdays at noon starting Tuesday, Sept. 29. The Wellness Program prefers participants attend live in order to engage in the conversation, but all classes will be recorded and shared with the participants so they have the ability to watch during the week between sessions if they can’t attend live.
Surveys from the spring session of this series showed that 96% of respondents would suggest this class to fellow faculty and staff.

Two other stress management classes start next week, “Mindfulness” and “Meditation 1.0.” Both are ideal for those new to the practice and both will be recorded for between class viewing. All of the Wellness Program’s stress management offerings are listed on the wellness website.
“Meditation 1.0” kicks off Monday, Sept. 14, at 12:30 p.m. Register for “Meditation 1.0.”
“Mindfulness” starts Thursday, Sept. 17, at noon. Register for “Mindfulness.”
