The Laura & Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program hosts “Opening Day” activities

The Laura & Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host an “Opening Day” of activities Thursday, Aug. 28, featuring an evening lecture with Kirk Schneider, a psychologist and spokesperson for contemporary existential-humanistic psychology.

The event will preview fall programming and provide an opportunity to meet many instructors. The event also includes a morning lecture with Brian Amkraut, executive director of the Laura & Alvin Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, and an afternoon lecture with Donald Rosenberg, a former music and dance critic for The Plain Dealer.

The lectures will be at the Siegal Beachwood facility (26500 Shaker Blvd.). Each lecture is free and open to the public. Registration is available online.
