The Feminist Collective at CWRU will host “The Genital Monologues” Friday, Feb. 22, and Saturday, Feb. 23, at Harkness Chapel. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 7 p.m.
“The Genital Monologues” production is geared toward understanding how the experiences of community members are shaped by their identity and experiences with their bodies, including but not limited to: gender, sexuality, race, religion and ability.
Members of the community can submit their work (slam poems, monologues, songs, artwork) for the production. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 15 at midnight.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
