Successfully managing diabetes can be a daily struggle, but the Case Western Reserve University Wellness Program offers support. The LivingWell program from SelfHelpWorks is an online class based in cognitive behavioral therapy. This program allows participants to change the way they manage, think and feel about their diabetes.
Composed of nine video-based sessions split into short segments, LivingWell is completely confidential and free to benefits-eligible CWRU faculty and staff.
Participants will see diabetes in a new way so they are empowered to make changes, get organized and confident, and take better control so they can lead a less stressful and healthier life. The classes can be completed any time on a PC, tablet or smartphone.
CWRU Wellness Program participants who complete this program will be eligible for the $100 nutrition and weight management incentive.
