The Office of Faculty Development invites faculty members to participate in a survey to help determine the topics for its 2015–2016 Lunch & Learn workshops—weekly 90-minute skill-building and peer discussion events.
Possible topics include:
- Creating an Elevator Speech for Networking
- Managing and Mentoring Students
- Negotiating in the Academy
- Time Management for Productivity
- Managing Difficult Conversations.
The survey is available online. The deadline to participate in the survey is Friday, Sept. 25.
Faculty Lunch & Learn workshops are held Fridays from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Thwing Center, Room 181. Lunch is provided for those who register the Monday prior to each session.
