Student eating at the cafeteria

Summer meal plans available to students May 22-Aug. 7; sign up now

Students have the option to sign up for a summer meal plan through Sodexo Food Services, which is operated at the University Hospitals cafeteria and University Hospitals Einstein Bros. Bagels (off the atrium), from May 22-Aug. 7.

Meal plan participation is optional for any student residing in university summer housing, or in off-campus or Greek housing. The chosen dollar amount will be deposited onto a separate summer meal plan card, which will be used as a declining balance at the UH cafeteria.

Students are expected to use their entire dollar amount as no refunds will be given for unused dollars at the end of the summer term. As an added perk, a 10 percent increase will be added to each card. For example, if you sign up for the $200 meal plan, you will have $220 loaded onto your card.

Students will be able to choose from the following amounts:

  • $700
  • $600
  • $500
  • $400
  • $300
  • $200

Students can add additional dollars to an existing meal plan by contacting housing through July 1. Requests to cancel or reduce plans for students remaining in university-operated housing will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Housing.

University Hospitals cafeteria is open seven days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends. University Hospital Einstein Bros. Bagels is open 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., weekdays only.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available daily. Students can view the weekly downloadable menu on the UH website.

For students living on campus, summer meal plan charges will go directly onto their SIS account. Students living off campus who opt into the summer meal plan will need to pay via credit card upon completing the meal plan application.

All questions about the summer meal plan should be directed to housing@case.edu or 216.368.3780.
