Hosted by the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, this event will be led by Cassandra Veney, executive director of Case Western Reserve University’s Humanities in Leadership Learning Series. The conversation will center on a discussion of Late Bloomers by Deepa Varadarajan.
This endearing debut novel charts the reverberations of divorce throughout an Indian-American family when the parents decide to split after 36 years of arranged marriage. Late Bloomers is a novel of love, family and second chances from an exciting new voice in fiction. Equal parts funny and heartbreaking, Late Bloomers is a charming story about starting over, stumbling, and finding yourself at any age.
The summer book discussion will take place in person on Tuesday, June 20 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the program’s Landmark Centre in Beachwood, located at 25700 Science Park Drive. There is a fee to attend.
