Caregiving for an older adult can present significant challenges for individuals and families. The Wellness Program will host “Successfully Navigating the Eldercare Maze” to help faculty and staff address these challenges.
This session will be held Thursday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 356.
Participants will learn how to collaboratively design a care-giving map for and with older adults. They will learn to distinguish when an older adult may need supportive services, programs or products to maintain independence.
Additionally, presenter Kelsey Loushin will share tools for aging in place.
Registration for this course is available online.
The course is the first in a six-class series on eldercare and grief. Class-by-class descriptions and registration forms are available on the Wellness Program website.
