Submit proposals for Saint-Gobain Student Design Competition by Oct. 2

The deadline to enter the Saint-Gobain Student Design Competition is Thursday, Oct. 2. Organizers of the competition are looking for student teams with innovative ideas.

The design competition offers a $9,000 grand prize to the team that best creates a prototype device that takes an existing material and, using principles of materials science and engineering, creates a new and creative use for it that solves a problem for society.

All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to participate, as well as Cleveland Institute of Art students.

In order to participate, students must submit a one- to two-page proposal to Genine.Apidone@case.edu by the end of the day Thursday, Oct. 2.
