Student Employment Job Fair to be held Aug. 21

All new students are invited to attend the Student Employment Job Fair Thursday, Aug. 21, from 2 to 5 p.m., in the Thwing Ballroom. The job fair will give students an opportunity to learn about campus employment, submit applications and resumes and schedule interviews with prospective employers.

Directories of the participating departments, available positions and the supervisors’ contact information will be provided to all attendees.

New students are also encouraged to attend the information session “The Essentials of Student Employment” as part of New Student Orientation. The session is offered Wednesday, Aug. 20, from 2 to 2:50 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium, and again that day, from 4 to 4:50 p.m., in Clapp Hall, room 108.

Representatives of the Office of Student Employment will answer questions and provide information on the Federal Work Study program, campus jobs, employer expectations, the payroll process and required documentation.
