Volunteers still are needed to help with the Engineering Challenges Carnival for local youth on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., hosted by the Leonard Gelfand STEM Center, the Division of Education and Student Programs and the Great Lakes Science Center.
This is an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to engage children in learning about science and engineering through demonstrations and hands-on activities. More than 1,000 students and family members are expected to attend.
Anyone interested in volunteering at this event is encouraged to fill out the sign-up form for two or more hours of volunteering. Individuals and groups are welcome.
