Graduate students, postdoctoral scholars and staff and faculty members are invited to participate in the Professional Development Day Innovation Jam Jan. 29 from 1 to 4 p.m.
The Innovation Jam is like a hackathon, but without the need for coding. Participants will be presented with a university-wide problem and some of its constraints, and then given the task of coming up with a creative solution. The topic will not be revealed until the day of the event.
Professional Development Day staff will set jam teams prior to the event.
Jam participants’ solutions will be presented to a panel of judges, and winners will receive a small prize and recognition for their creativity and ingenuity.
