Foraging classes

This class will be offered on three Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: May 26, June 2 and June 9.

Course instructor Ryan Bennett, the Farm Food Program coordinator for Case Western Reserve University’s Squire Valleevue and Valley Ridge Farms, has spent the last 10 years foraging throughout northeast Ohio for local restaurants.

This class involves a large amount of hiking through the woods. Boots or hiking shoes, long pants, water bottles, bug spray and sunscreen are highly recommended.

The course fee is $75 per session.

A minimum of six people and a maximum of 12 can participate in the class.
