The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host its third annual showcase Wednesday, Aug. 28, featuring a series of 10-minute lectures by Case Western Reserve University community members.
The following lectures will be part of the showcase:
- “Roots of History: Finding Civil War Antibiotics from Trees in Your Backyard” by Matt Bertin, the Gilles and Malvina Klopman Assistant Professor of Chemistry;
- “Israeli Poetry after October 7” by Barbara Mann, the Stephen H. Hoffman Professor of Modern Hebrew;
- “How CWRU Engages with the Surrounding Communities” by Julian Rogers, assistant vice president of local government and community relations; and
- “Music and Love: A Perspective from the Late Middle Ages” by David Rothenberg, professor in the Department of Music.
