The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will offer a remote course titled “Israel in a Changing Middle East: Opportunities and Risks,” led by Daniel Sherman, strategic consultant and lecturer in Modi’in, Israel. The course will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Thursdays June 10 to July 1.
This course will explore Israel’s relations with the region’s Arab states and the Palestinians as set within an increasingly charged and dynamic geopolitical landscape. Participants will examine continuities and discontinuities involving Russia, Turkey, Iran, and the U.S., and be challenged with the different Israeli visions of peace and security as they are reflected in—and impacted by—domestic Israeli politics.
