Share your stories about Earth Day 1970 at CWRU and elsewhere

Wednesday, April 22, 2020, marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. The CWRU Office of Energy & Sustainability is collecting stories and pictures from CWRU faculty, alumni and staff who were on campus on the first Earth Day in 1970. It is not known if there was an on-campus event at CWRU, but the Office of Energy & Sustainability hopes to benefit from our campus’s collective knowledge to tell the story of the first Earth Day on campus. The office also welcomes personal recollections of the first Earth Day at other locations.

To participate, email the details to sustainability@case.edu by Friday, April 17. Submissions may be shared on the Office of Energy & Sustainability website, newsletter or social media. Staff from the sustainability office will be in contact with each participant before a story is shared.
