Earlier this year, Jessie Hill, the Laura B. Chisolm Distinguished Research Scholar and professor of law, gave multiple presentations on the topics of religion and reproductive rights.
On March 3, Hill presented “Change, Dissent, and the Problem of Consent in Religious Organizations,” at a faculty workshop at Washington University St. Louis School of Law.
She also spoke at multiple engagements to the Case Western Reserve University community.
Hill presented alongside Robert Talisse, professor of philosophy and political science at Vanderbilt University and Professor David Forte, professor at Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, at the School of Law’s “Religion in the Public Square” panel discussion. George Dent, professor of law, organized the event.
During the Office for Inclusion, Diversity and Equal Opportunity’s Power of Diversity lecture series, Hill gave a presentation titled “Reproductive Rights or Reproductive Justice?”
In addition, Hill presented on the Hobby Lobby v. Burwell case for the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program Senior Scholars Series.
