Case Western Reserve University faculty, staff and students are invited to present their work at Research ShowCASE 2018. The event will provide an opportunity for CWRU researchers to display their research in a traditional scientific poster or other creative means. University Hospitals, Cleveland Clinic, MetroHealth Medical Center and the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center researchers also can participate.
In addition to the opportunity to display and share their work, undergraduate, graduate students and professional students and postdoctoral scholars are encouraged to participate in the research competition. The competition includes having participants’ presentations evaluated and feedback is provided. Cash prizes will be awarded to winning entries.
Research ShowCASE will be held Friday, April 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center.
In order to display work at Research ShowCASE, individuals need to submit an online abstract describing their research.
Students and postdoctoral scholars must have their faculty adviser approve their submission.
The deadline for graduate and professional students, faculty, staff and affiliates to submit an abstract is Feb. 18. Submit an abstract at case.edu/research/showcase/.
Undergraduate students can submit their abstracts beginning in mid-February on the Support of Undergraduate Research & Creative Endeavors website. Learn more at case.edu/source/share/intersections/.
