“Safeguarding Yourself: A Workshop on Identity Protection”

Your identity makes up who you are. It is composed of your personally identifiable information, or PII, which is data that could potentially be used to identify you. Safeguarding your PII is more important than ever.

First-Year Experience and Family Programs will partner with PNC to offer “Safeguarding Yourself: A Workshop on Identity Protection” Thursday, April 29, from noon to 1 p.m. as part of Financial Literacy Month.

In this workshop, students will learn about the latest scams and how to help protect themselves from them, ways PII can be compromised, strategies to help keep their data safe and, most importantly, what they can do if their identity is compromised.

Register for the workshop via CampusGroups.
