”Rising Above a Toxic Workplace” series to begin March 4

The Department of Human Resources’ Organizational Development and Learning Unit will launch a six-part series beginning on Wednesday, March 4, based on the book Rising Above a Toxic Workplace by Gary Chapman, Paul White and Harold Myra. During the series, attendees will examine various aspects of a toxic workplace and learn to understand others while finding tools to improve the workplace.

Lisa Board-McShepard, training analyst for organizational development and learning and employee relations specialist in the Department of Human Resources, will facilitate the sessions.

Each session is from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209. The series will continue on March 18, April 1, April 15, April 29 and May 13. Attendance is required at all six sessions.

Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to the workshop. Registration is available online.
