Responsible Conduct of Research Series: “Humans and Animals”

Conducted each fall semester, Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) is a four-part seminar series focused on research ethics for undergraduate researchers. Students who complete all four sessions receive a certificate of completion.

The next installment in the series, titled “Humans and Animals,” will be held Tuesday, Oct. 20, from 9 to 9:50 a.m. via Zoom.

When performing research involving humans or animals, it is important to understand your responsibilities. This session will cover how to protect human subjects in research as well as outline the practices employed by the university to ensure humane care and use of animals in research.
