The Undergraduate Research Society will host Research-A-Thon, a competitive research event, in collaboration with the Undergraduate Society for Bioethics and Health Humanities, Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom.
Students will work in teams of four to investigate a prominent emerging global issue and propose a solution to a panel of judges. This is an exceptional opportunity to test and develop critical problem-solving skills and also ruminate over one of the world’s most pressing problems. No prior experience in research is required. Winning teams will receive $100 per person for first place and $50 per person for second place.
Lunch will be provided.
