The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will offer a remote course titled “The Brilliance and Range of Emily Dickinson,” starting Monday, March 7.
Boundary-breaking, beloved, revered, misunderstood—Emily Dickinson remains one of the foremost geniuses of American poetry. In this six-week course, participants will explore a range of Emily Dickinson’s poetry. Each week, students will read and discuss poetry on a different theme, including her “riddle” poems, the master poems, the wife poems, and poems about nature, hearth and home, and inner life. Students will consider biographical challenges and recent research into Dickinson’s life and work.
This course is open to members of the Case Western Reserve University community. Register for the course.
