The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host the next installment of the Northeast Ohio Public Policy Forums series Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
The forum will be titled “How Can We Reduce Gun Violence in Cleveland?” and feature a non-political conversation that asks a judge, a suicide prevention expert and a physician for advice on how to reduce gun violence and gun deaths in Northeast Ohio.
Pete Krouse, public interest and advocacy reporter for cleveland.com, will moderate discussion among:
- Lolita McDavid, medical director of child advocacy and protection at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital;
- Joan Synenberg, judge for the Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court; and
- Jane Timmons-Mitchell, senior research associate at the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education.
