The food system is shaped by the values we hold, and, in turn, regulates the rate at which justice is achieved through actions of the food system.
The next Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) seminar series will address this topic with a talk titled “Shifting the Food System to Achieve Nutrition Equity.”
This session will be held Wednesday, Jan. 11, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.
This presentation will provide a complex systems framework for setting nutrition equity as a core value to guide local food systems work in racialized urban communities.
