Ornina Atieh and Jhony Baissary, postdoctoral scholars at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, recently published an article titled “The Long-Term Effect of COVID-19 Infection on Body Composition.”

Their paper, published in Nutrients, delves into their research exploring the long-term impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on body fat distribution, bone mineral density, and lean body mass.
