Robert Gilliard, a postdoctoral researcher in chemistry, received the SciFinder Future Leader Award from the Chemical Abstracts Service, a division of the American Chemical Society.
He was one of approximately 25 awardees from around the world. Winners are selected based on their academic accomplishment, a commitment to research and an appreciation of research information.
His award includes
- An all-expense-paid trip to Columbus;
- All-expense-paid trip to Philadelphia to attend the 252nd ACS National Meeting and Exposition;
- Certificate of distinction; and
- $1,000.
Earlier this year, Gilliard appeared on Forbes‘ “30 Under 30” list.
