Players’ Theatre Group: Red

Players’ Theatre Group (PTG) invites the campus community to attend its fall semester workshop production of John Logan’s Red, directed by Brett DiCello. The play runs Thursday, Oct. 19, and Friday, Oct. 20, at Eldred Theater. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m.

About the production

Red follows abstract expressionist painter Mark Rothko as he is commissioned by a major New York corporation to paint murals to fill the walls of a new restaurant. Though this commission would make him set for life, is the money worth his legacy? Will the murals be appreciated? Will they truly move his audience? Or will they be just another piece of interior decoration?

There is a suggested donation of $5 (CaseCash accepted) to support PTG. PTG stickers will be available for purchase.
