The Players’ Theatre Group will host free performances of Fun Home Dec. 8–9 at 7 p.m. in Eldred Hall.
This is a musical based on the graphic novel/memoir by the same name, written by Alison Bechdel. The childhood storyline follows Bechdel in her youth, growing up in Beech Creek, Pennsylvania. The college storyline follows Bechdel’s sexual and political awakening. While writing the memoir, Bechdel reaches a sense of closure about the recent events of her life.
